The Power of Partnership: Standing United Against Trafficking

ree

Over the past six years, Last Word by SL has had the privilege of sharing space and vision with some truly remarkable grassroots organizations. These are the groups working on the front lines, offering hope and healing to survivors during their most vulnerable moments. Many are trauma-informed, survivor-centered, faith-driven, and deeply committed to restoration.

Organizations Making Real Impact

  • 4theONE Foundation works tirelessly to locate and recover missing, exploited, and trafficked youth across North Texas and beyond. Since their founding in 2015, they’ve assisted in over 500 successful recoveries of missing minors — including nearly 300 involved in domestic minor sex trafficking or exploitation.

  • Refuge for Women is a faith-based program providing long-term care and trauma-informed support to victims of human trafficking. Their continuum of care includes safe housing and evidence-based programming, offering survivors a path toward healing and new life.

  • Ranch Hands Rescue and its division Bob’s House of Hope are doing groundbreaking work. Bob’s House of Hope is the first safe house in the United States dedicated specifically to male survivors of sex trafficking (ages 18+). Their unique model blends trauma-informed care with animal-assisted therapy offering residents holistic support, vocational training, and a path to independence.

These organizations and many more partners like them remind us that real change happens when hearts, hands, and hope unite.

Why Partnerships Matter

Individually, each of these groups does powerful work. But together through collaboration, coordination, and collective advocacy the impact grows exponentially.

By supporting grassroots rescue and recovery efforts, building awareness, and offering long-term survivor support, partnerships like these create a safety net strong enough to catch the vulnerable and broken. They hold doors open when others turn a blind eye.

Our 2026 “Support a Survivor” Movement

At Last Word, we believe in the power of unity and community. That’s why our 2026 Support a Survivor Movement is designed to support and amplify these grassroots efforts nationwide.

You can help us reach our goal by donating to the support a suirvivor fund, or simply by sharing our movement across social media and digital platforms.

Every share, every dollar, every voice helps shine a light into the darkness and helps survivors of human trafficking.

When we all stand together, we affirm what survivors deserve: respect, recovery, and the chance to live with dignity.

Join Us. Your voice matters in this fight. Survivors deserve to have the Last Word.
