Chillicothe Ohio, with a population of around 21,000, is just one of many towns plagued with the drug epidemic in the United States. One of the biggest untold truths related to the drug crisis would be the close connection and in some ways its "sister" problem, human trafficking.
Between 2013-2015. Megan Lancaster, Holly Logan, Jayme Bowen, Charlotte Trego, Tameka Lynch, Jade Humble, Shasta Himelrick, Wanda Lemons, Tiffany Sayre, and Timberly Clayton would either go missing or be found dead in this small town. All these women were connected to each other either through the drug world, the sex industry, and in some cases good friends with one another.
These 10 ladies were mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, wives, friends, and even a grandmother when they went missing.
Of these ten ladies, 4 of them have been found dead, all under questionable circumstances, an apparent suicide, one listed as undetermined, and two were related to homicide.
Jason McCrary was found guilty of the murder of Timberly Claytor, and nothing materialized to connect him to the remaining ladies. No one else has been convicted in connection to these women.

Megan Lancaster 25, has been missing since 04/03/2013 from Wheelersburg, Ohio. She has blonde hair, and brown eyes stood, 5'6, and was around 115 pounds at the time she went missing. Megan has a birthmark on the upper right side of her abdomen, a tattoo of colorful angel wings with the name "Rhys" in cursive lettering on her right shoulder, and her ears are pierced. - Bottom far right image age-progression to age 33 (circa 2021)
Holly Renee Logan 27, has been missing since 07/21/2013 from Columbus, Ohio. She has sandy blond hair, and green eyes stood 5'4", and was around 110-120 pounds at the time she went missing. Holly may use the name, Marie. and has a tattoo of a butterfly on her right arm and a heart on her right calf.
Jayme Malynn Bowen 22 has been missing since 04/10/2014 from Columbus, Ohio.
She has blonde hair, and blue eyes, stood 5'0", and was around 110 pounds at the time she went missing. Jayme has a tattoo of the name "George III" on the right side of her neck, and the name "Jayden" on her right shoulder and her ears are pierced.
Charlotte Eliza Trego 27, has been missing since 05/03/2014 from Chillicothe, Ohio. She has brown hair, and blue eyes stood 5'4", and was around 150 pounds at the time she went missing. Charlotte has a tattoo with the name "James" on her right breast, the name "Chloe" underneath a flower band on her arm, a Playboy bunny below the name "Jason" on her upper right arm, and a flower on her right ankle. She wears eyeglasses, and her ears are pierced.
Tameka Lynch a 30 year old mother goes missing on May 16th, 2014. Her husband reported Tameka missing on May 20th, 2014. Her body is found by a kayaker on May 24th, 2014 in Paint Creek and her death is ruled 'undetermined'.
Wanda Lemons 37 years old has been missing since 11/03/2014 from Chillicothe, Ohio. She has brown hair, and blue eyes stood 5'7", and was around 135 pounds at the time she went missing. Wanda has a scar on her right leg, a tattoo of dolphins forming a heart on her lower back, and her ears are pierced. Her previous surnames were Hodges and Jackson.
Jade Humble 22 has been missing since 12/24/2014, from Cincinnati, Ohio.
She has sandy blond hair, and green eyes stood 5'7", and was around 110 pounds at the time she went missing. Jade has tattoos of a Playboy bunny on the upper right side of her back, "Jade" on her buttock, a heart with a man's name and a date on her ankle, and a star design on her left arm/shoulder. She also has several missing teeth, including an eyetooth, a surgical scar on the top of her left hand and she previously broke her neck, Her ears are pieced.
Shasta Himelrick, 20 years old & newly pregnant, went missing on December 25th, 2014, after leaving her grandmother's house. CCTV footage shows her at the Speedway gas station in Chillicothe around 3 AM, she appears to be alone wearing a pink sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. Her car is found abandoned the following day. On January 2nd, 2015 her body is located in the Scioto River about 1.5 miles downstream from where her car was found. Her death is ruled a suicide and her autopsy report shows different articles of clothing than what Shasta is seen earing on the CCTV cameras from the night she went missing. Shasta's family does not agree with the ruling.
Tiffany Sayre, 26 years old is reported missing on May 11th, 2015, from Chillicothe Ohio.
On June 27, 2015, her body was found wrapped in a painter's cloth in a culvert ditch in Paint Creek about 1.5 miles away from where the body of Tameka Lynch was found. Tiffany's death is ruled a homicide. To date there no one has been charged in connection to her murder.
KEY SUSPECTS
#1 Jason McCrary
MrCrary had connections to several of the missing women, a criminal past, and was a known dealer in the area.
McCrary was convicted and sentenced in August of 2016 to life in prison for the murder of Timberly Claytor.
He maintained his innocence throughout the trial and blamed the death on another local drug dealer whose street name was 'Dolla Bill'.
McCrary was never charged or convicted in the disappearances or death of the other remaining ladies. McCrary was found dead at Warren Correctional Institution in July of 2022 and the Hamilton County Coroner ruled he died of heart disease.
#2 DOLLA BILL
Dolla Bill, born Ernest Moore, was with Jason McCrary the night Timberly Claytor was murdered. In 2016 Moore was convicted of kidnapping and felony assault in connection with a torture case and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was never charged or convicted in the disappearance of the other women.
#3 Neal Falls
Neal Falls was murdered at the home of a woman named Heather in July of 2015 in Charleston West Virginia. Falls met Heather on Backpage. com and held her at gunpoint when he arrived. Heather managed to attack her fighter and in the process Falls was killed. Charleston Police found a bag or 'Kill Kit' with gloves, bleach, zip ties, an axe, knives, guns, duck tape shovels, trash bags, a bulletproof vest, clean socks, and underwear. Along with notes on other women he had met or talked to on Backpage.com
#4Michael Owes
Michael Owes was the boyfriend and presumed father of Shasta Himelrick's unborn child. On August 29th, 2019 Michael Owes, plead guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition of a minor, a third-degree felony. He received a sentence of two years in prison on each count, to be served concurrently with credit for time served, and will be required to register as a sex offender. Owes had a previous girlfriend who died suddenly several months before his current girlfriend Shasta, was found dead.
#5Michael Mearan
Michael Mearan was a former city councilman for Portsmouth Ohio, and a practicing attorney for over 50 years. His name along with many other community leaders and connected people in the mid-west was listed in records that were kept by Megan Lancaster.
Mearan was indicted and arrested on October 23, 2020, on 18 felony charges including nine counts of promoting prostitution, five counts of compelling prostitution, three counts of human trafficking, and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
Mearan was released on a $300,000 bond and awaited trial. On Wednesday, November 24th, 2021, Mearan went into the hospital where he died on Friday, November 26th, 2021, from undisclosed "health complications". He was never convicted on the pending charges.
#6 William Marshall
One of the many victims of Michael Mearan stated that Scioto County Common Pleas Court Judge William Marshall was one of the men Michal Mearan trafficked her out to. She and three other women stated they were approached to perform sexual favors for now retired Scioto Judge William Marshall in exchange for lighter sentences in their criminal cases.
Marshall was suspended from practicing law after interfering in his daughter’s speeding ticket case. His family tried to take control of the narrative, saying he was a severe alcoholic and had gone to work as a judge while drunk. He was never charged in connection to the missing ladies, or the accusations against him.
